A blurry image pops up. At first, I'm like, "Ugh, another meme." But then I see the blue hair, the orange gi...it's Dragon Ball Super, baby!
And that, my friends, is how I stumbled upon the (unofficial, let's be honest) scan of Dragon Ball Super chapter 104 (VF, or Version Française for all my non-French speakers out there – oui, oui!). The internet, as always, delivers the goods, even if it’s a bit… pixelated.

From what I've gathered from these grainy images, it seems like the focus is still on Goku and Gohan. Big shocker, right? Those Saiyan genes are just too strong to ignore. Seriously, can we get some Piccolo love? He's practically Gohan's real dad anyway. #PiccoloDeservesBetter
It looks like they are continuing their training/sparring session, pushing each other to new limits. Remember when Gohan was supposed to be the next big thing? Yeah, well, he's trying to get back to that point. Seeing him train with Goku is always a treat, reminds you of the good old days. Back when Krillin's biggest problem was getting Yamcha's girl! Good times!
The artwork! Even through the scan, you can appreciate the dynamic panels and the intensity of the fight scenes. The artists are really killing it lately, bringing back that classic Dragon Ball feel with a modern twist. The energy blasts look, well, explosive. Sorry, I had to.
Of course, because it’s a scan, the translation is probably rough around the edges. And let's be real, sometimes the French translation adds its own flair. "Kamehameha" just doesn't sound the same in English, does it? It’s like trying to explain the perfect croissant to someone who’s only ever had a supermarket donut. You just can't!
What I'm really hoping to see in the official release (and the better quality scans that inevitably follow) is some actual character development. Give us some dialogue that isn't just screaming about power levels! Show us some vulnerability! Make us care about these characters beyond their ability to blow up planets!
But hey, I'm not complaining too much. It's Dragon Ball. We're here for the over-the-top action, the ridiculous power-ups, and the occasional laugh. And chapter 104 (or at least, the scan of it) seems to deliver on all those fronts. I am sure that's enough to satisfy every Dragon Ball fan.
